Bel Canto 101
TBA
Starmount Presbyterian Church
3501 West Market Street, Greensboro
Led by Artistic Director and Conductor, Dr. Welborn Young, Bel Canto 101 promises to be a fun filled day of learning the “secrets” to Bel Canto’s signature sound.
For just $35 ($20 for students) participants will spend the day singing familiar choral music and learning how Bel Canto approaches rehearsals and performance. Whether a singer, conductor, or simply a fan, participants will enjoy getting a behind the scenes look at how Dr. Young elicits the sublime balance, tone and ensemble that are the hallmarks of every Bel Canto Company concert. All levels of skill and experience are welcome!
Sign-in begins at 8:30 AM and the day will conclude with an informal concert of the music prepared throughout the day. (Copies of the music will be provided in advance for any participant who would like to request it.)
To register in advance (so that we will plan for the correct number of lunches) or for more information, please call 336-333-2220. Bel Canto gladly accepts cash, check, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
